Cee Tax Group
Boutique tax and legal counsel across Central and Eastern Europe.
Two decades of expertise. One identity that finally matches it.
Cee Tax Group has been closing complex cross border deals across 27 CEE countries since 2004. Their reputation was built entirely on results, not on how they looked. That worked, until the market got more competitive and their digital presence started costing them first impressions with exactly the kind of clients they wanted. The brand needed to catch up with the firm.
We researched the visual language of boutique legal and tax firms across the CEE region and Western Europe. What we found was a spectrum: on one end, outdated heritage firms leaning on dark wood tones and serif logos that hadn't been touched since 2003. On the other, newer entrants trying to look like tech startups, minimal, approachable, stripped of any authority. Neither end of that spectrum reflected what Cee Tax Group actually was: a firm with the track record of an institution and the agility of a boutique.
The strategic decision was not to modernise for the sake of it. The history, the authority, the precision, none of that needed replacing. What it needed was a visual language sharp enough to carry twenty years of credibility into a room full of people who had never heard of them.
Authority that doesn't need to announce itself.
The "ctg" monogram became the hero, bold, geometric, built to own any surface it appears on. The palette is unapologetically red and white: the red carries two decades of deal closing authority, the white gives it the clarity of a firm that never overcomplicates. The typographic system is editorial and structured, referencing financial documents and legal precision without feeling stiff. Applied across signage, business cards, environmental graphics, and print, the system works because it never tries too hard. It simply looks like it belongs at the table it has always been sitting at.
